1. McDaniel Women’s Lacrosse Opens Conference Play
McDaniel College’s women’s lacrosse team kicks off Centennial Conference action at home against Muhlenberg this Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gill Stadium in Westminster. The Green Terror, currently 5-3, are aiming for a strong conference run after a solid non-conference stretch. The Westminster branch of the Carroll County Public Library hosts Preparing the Heart: Understanding Anticipatory Grief on Saturday from 2:00-3:00 PM. Led by end-of-life doula Tina Workman, this session explores coping strategies for grief before loss. More March library event here →
3. #8 Westminster High Softball Plays at Home
After finishing 9-11 last year, Westminster High softball enters the 2025 season ranked No. 8 in The Baltimore Sun preview. Under returning coach Ashley Harford, the Owls look to reestablish themselves as a Carroll County powerhouse. They play at home this Saturday at 11 a.m. against Dulaney High School.
